US Users of CashApp Can Invest Their Paychecks Into Bitcoin

The mobile payment service CashApp developed by Block (SQ) announced at the Bitcoin 2022 Conference in Miami on Thursday about rolling out three new features for their users in the United States. CashApp Introduces New Services The peer-to-peer payment service run by Twitter’s co-founder Jack Dorsey’s Block will enable users to opt for the “Paid in Bitcoin” feature. The completely free service allows consumers to automatically invest their direct-deposit paychecks into Bitcoin (BTC). Bitcoin product lead Miles Sutter of Cash App explained the feature in an announcement on Thursday. He stated that any percentage from 1 to 100 percent of the user’s direct deposit can be converted into BTC, automatically. The second feature CashApp announced is the option of rounding up Cash Card transactions made on a Visa Debit Card to the nearest dollar and diverting the spare change into Bitcoin. The Cash Card is connected to the CashApp. Lastly, Cash App also announced integration with Bitcoin Lightning Network, enabling consumers to send and receive BTC by any lightning network wallet. Reportedly, CashApp believes this update will help make faster Bitcoin transactions. Following the announcement, tennis champion Serena Williams announced that her venture capital Serena Ventures will also be working with CashApp in the future.
