Coinbase Launches Coinbase Pay Service

Crypto exchange Coinbase has announced the launch of a new service called Coinbase Pay. In a blog post, Coinbase revealed that users will be able to fund their wallets from the Chrome browser extension and explore web3. With this new service, the crypto company seeks to curtail the tedious process of funding a self-custody wallet, a process necessary in accessing web3 services. Security and Easier Access to DeFi and Web3 Prior to the launch of Coinbase Pay, the process of transferring crypto via the browser extension was inconvenient and not entirely safe. Users had to go to the Coinbase website, sign in, copy-paste their wallet address. Then they could manually transfer the crypto. This tedious process left too much room for user error and transactions were irreversible. However, all they have to do now is select “Add crypto with Coinbase Pay” to add crypto to their Coinbase Wallet browser extension. Then, they can simply select the cryptocurrency, indicate the amount, and confirm the transaction. Currently, US and Canadian users can use their debit cards and bank accounts for transfers. Alternative payment options will soon be available globally. The post Coinbase Launches Coinbase Pay Service appeared first on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform.
