Coinbase Global (COIN +2.0%) is adding a social network component to its app, the company said in a blog post. "We want to help self-empower the community with easy-to-use sharing tools making it simpler and more fun to share information on your portfolio allocations or key crypto topics such as emerging new assets," Rishav Mukherji, senior product manager of Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN), said in the post. The new "share" button in the app is in response to its customers looking for ways to better understand crypto as an investment and as an app platform, the company said. By tapping the button, users can share asset pages with their private network or on their social network. It will only share allocation percentages, not the portfolio balance, it said.
