Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:IBKR) introduces cryptocurrency trading for registered investment advisors ("RIAs") in the U.S., allowing them to trade and custody bitcoin (BTC-USD), ethereum (ETH-USD), litecoin (LTC-USD) and bitcoin cash (BCH-USD) via Paxos Trust on behalf of clients. "Allocating a small percentage of assets to cryptocurrency as part of a well-diversified portfolio has steadily become more commonplace, and advisors may wish to recommend cryptocurrency to their clients," said Steve Sanders, EVP of marketing and product development at Interactive Brokers. RIAs using the platform now have the ability to trade stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds and funds on over 135 markets from a single integrated master account, and trade cryptos from the same platform. The company says it plans to launch the service for financial advisors in other parts of the world. Crypto trading with Paxos, a regulated blockchain infrastructure platform, on Interactive Brokers' (IBKR) RIA platform has low commissions of 0.12%
